The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

This book was a page turner- I didn’t wanna put it down and read it in 2 or 3 days. But that doesn’t necessarily mean I loved it or that it will leave a lasting impression. Overall, the story was interesting and unique but did not fully align with my personal tastes. It was very plot heavy with what felt like minimal fleshing out of characters and relationships. And the little we did get to know of the characters was largely unlikable (which I know some people enjoy but not my cup of tea).

To be fair, there were bits in the book that I was very invested in and characters I cared about. I even shed a tear while reading. It just didn’t all come together the way I hoped it would.

Also I will never forgive TJR for spelling “okay” as “OK” every. single. time.
