This was a slow burner and took a while to get into. For a good chunk nothing really happened but also, I was still very curious as to where it was going. There was something weirdly gripping about it.
Then when the action started it didn't really stop. This was a very twisty and atmospheric book with some spooky/ghost story elements.
Could totally see this translating to screen. It got so creepy near the end too and I was loving it.
I thought I had it all figured out and then it turned out I absolutely didn't which is a bonus for me as usually I guess a lot of thriller plots.

Overall, it was enjoyable and perfect for the autumnal vibes and spooky season.
