I loved the Curse of the Gods series so much! I really wanted to try lore of the writer's work but this wasn't it for me.
Willa was funny, clumsy and over the top. She was likable and I got into her story right away. Jessa just wasn't it. She was the perfect girl, with a powerful father, powerful shifter form (alpha), awesome bestfriends (who I'm not sure she's going to be doing all of them soon or just one) and basically a awesome life. I didn't relate. Also, the vibe I got from the characters was more high school than college, they seemed quite immature especially for people who are going to be the ruler of the world in 3 years (?)
The sister/twin/double shifter thing was also a lot to handle on top of the prison, the awesome best friends to become presidents, the deaths. Like do we like her? Do we don't? Everything was just very confusing
One thing that confused me too was the prison? It's the name of the series and yet it's a ghost prison? Idk I don't get it
