Did not finish book. Stopped at 6%.

Veronica told you everything you had to know about her and in her own terms. I loved independent and witty women in stories. But not in the “I will tell you everything about how amazing I am” way. Plus, apparently Veronica found it essential to mock other females in her time for her to be special. I am just in a stage of my life where I have no patience for women who consider themselves “not like other women” to feel superior. Looking down upon your sisters is not really independent and open minded for me.
