This book is a sequel to population which is one of my favorite books I gave that book a five star and this book was really good as well.

I did like the friendship that grew between Abel and Mikey, I love the Abel was a fighter she was not going to give up on her goals and not going to give up on finding Kane.

That is one of the things that I loved about the relationship between Kane and Abel was that they kept a promise to help each other no matter what whether they were in a relationship or not they would always be by each other side being a helping hand. True friendship

The action in this book is pretty good and I love the introduction to new characters. Some scenes were really intense. Which made this book oh so good

Unfortunately this story had quite a bit of some strong scenes. That made me realize how weak Abel is as a human. I wish that the blood that she took would make her extra strong as a human instead of healing, because I tell you that girl went through it. To the point that I was like OK I understand humans are weak.

There is also a non-consensual some thing that happens that really made me question and couldn’t understand it but understood it but didn’t like it. Not a big fan of that. Also I definitely was not a Kane a couple of times.

I didn’t like that Abel had pre-assumptions about Mikey knowing that he was pretty much dead for about five years and she hated him already. I couldn’t understand that but he made for a good story. I was happy that Abel and Mikey had a good relationship at the end.

I think overall I enjoyed this book just as much as I enjoyed population. And I can’t wait to read her next book in the series.

I really look forward to when Mikey falls in love. To be honest I’m hoping that he falls in love with a beautiful plus size curvy dark skin heroin who also is totally kick ass and extremely smart and she comes up with like a serum that will help make humans extra strong or something or how to help the agriculture grow better and some of Brianna territory. Or that the heroine totally kicked his ass and he can’t help but want to get to know her and she’s like I don’t wanna deal with the stupid crybaby. Because Mike is a crybaby
