What a finale. The author wrapped most everything up nicely. The ending was perfect and the adventure getting there was rough but fun. Loved all the characters. Meriah was hands-down the stand out. Her world got rocked and her growth and guilt was absolutely palpable. Will definitely consider reading more by this author.
Overall: 4.7/5 - My reviews on the first 2 books cover my concerns with pacing and insta-love. I usually only rate a book a 5 if I loved it enough to re-read it and the trauma from this series holds me back on that. There wasn’t a lot of reprieve and I’m not sure if I’d want to revisit. That being said, this series was great. The world was built beautifully. The story was wrapped up nicely. The characters got their HEA.
