Fighting Temptation

DID NOT FINISH
DID NOT FINISH. Granted, I read more than 50% of the book before I threw it against the wall... Here's what I wrote on my book updates:
"When the heroine cries more than 10 times in a 100 pages... It makes me want to strangle her a little bit."
"6 whole pages and she's crying again... This would make a good drinking game..."
(4 pages later) "More tears! Drink!"
"Hey she's crying again! Drink! I think it's every 4-10 pages she cries..."
"Ok EWWW. This guy is sick. I can't read this crap anymore. DNF."
I can't remember anything from this book. I can't even remember why I thought the guy was sick and decided not to finish it. BUT the one this I DO remember is there was a WHOLE CRAP LOAD of crying. Seriously, who cries that much? Even when I was an over-emotional angst-ridden distraught teenager, I never cried as much as Julia. Seriously, she is supposed to be a GROWN ASS WOMAN...how does she manage to get through life with SO MUCH TEARS?
Oh, other thing...maybe it's because I grew up around LA? Isn't it NORMAL to lock your doors? Like, ALL THE TIME? Who leaves their doors unlocked 24/7?
I seriously had to wonder if this book was orignally a fanfic that was super popular...and then the author just changed the names of the characters.
