I did not liked the way he thought about her for more than half of the book. Sure he had no other way of thinking or whatever but he just thought of her as an object! Maybe it's because in my mind the Eloise I think about I'd the one from Netflix, the one that is so feminist and self assured I would never think she would let the way he treated her pass.
