The Goal by Elle Kennedy
4.0
I enjoyed this more than I thought I would, and that can be firmly placed on one man’s shoulders - John Tucker.
Tucker could just be one of my favourite book boyfriends ever. The patience of a saint, the critical thinking ability of a genius and the way he understands and adapts to what his woman needs/will respond too? SWOON.
The story was okay, not my favourite tropes but sweet nonetheless. This book was truely carried for me by the characters - well, one character. And the appearance of his buddies we came to know and love.
Writing is typical Elle Kennedy - makes it easy to be sucked away, not put the book down, etc.
