Re-read: The fairy stuff is still whacky and difficult to follow, but it’s a familiar cosy read that I love.

“Love him who loves you. Do not be misled by appearances, and release me from prison.”

Oh this book!

Chapter 8- The Fairy Reveals All brought this book down from a 5 star to a 4 star. I was loving this book so much! It has so much content that is not in the films and I absolutely adored reading this classic. This book also has some of the most beautiful lines I have ever read. I was just loving it and thought it would be a 5 star.

But Chapter 8 just got me lost so much with the fairy feud. I was confused throughout and I could only follow a few things in that Chapter which is a shame because it really is the Chapter that explains how and why everything came to be. I essentially needed a translation tool (a summary on goodreads) for that Chapter!

The rest of the book was incredible, could not fault. Just Chapter 8!
