I am a sucker for a romance story, and this book had me wishing I had a young teenage romance of my own. I loved how Carley Fortune built upon Sam and Percy’s relationship with the alternate chapters dating back to the past and present.
I love a happy ending and this was definitely that, but I really don’t like the cheating trope (especially considering who it was with that didn’t sit right with me), and that took a lot away from the book for me. However, this book felt very real and goes to show that love is messy. Would recommend as a light hearted summer read.
