Ms. Marvel, Vol. 3: Crushed
by G. Willow Wilson
2.5 stars for issue 12 - I could really care less about Loki but there were a few slightly funny parts.
4 stars each for issues 13-15 - I really liked the storyline here and if Marvel is running with this plot, I will pick up volume four of the trade editions.
2 stars for the S.H.I.E.L.D. crossover issue - I don't know what this is and I had very minimal interest in finding out. I understand why the issue is included in the trade. It is helpful to diehard Kamala fans who aren't fans of other Marvel series to include it. But I also feel like the crossover issues don't have a true representation of the characters. It's like they're playing a weaker version of themselves to accommodate the big personalities that are the true protagonists of the story.
Average: 3.3 stars. I round down, so 3 stars.
