Active Hope (Revised): How to Face the Mess We're in Without Going Crazy by Joanna Macy, Chris Johnstone

hopeful informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

5.0

A timely and much needed reminder that feeling pain for the state of the world is normal and healthy, not some psychological condition to be fixed. This book provided some beautiful anecdotes and examples of what active hope is, and some helpful prompts for reflection which I will come back to often and frequently. I feel validated, empowered and motivated to use my grief and anxiety about the state of the world to act for the well-being of all.
