I loved this series and absolutely devoured every volume. I have some critiques of the gay romance that I will unfortunately have to put in a spoiler tag, and I would really recommend reading the book before seeking out detailed reviews!! Spoiler-free version is that it's the type of ending that has you on ao3 moments after closing the book.

I really wish we got something more from Will and Damien's relationship. Even in the epilogue they have that "historians call them best friends" energy. The only couple who gets dedicated time in a formal relationship in the text of the book is Monica and Dorian.
