Chain of Iron picks up right in the mess Chain of Gold left off on. Lucie and her ghosts, James and his bracelet, Cordelia and the world’s expectations, and Matthew and his hidden shame. Together they have to deal with these problems and the fact that more Shadowhunters are being mysteriously killed. This series follows so many wonderful characters both new and from previous Shadowhunter series that I just love reading books set in this world. I will be starting the final book immediately because there’s just too much going on to wait.
