Hidden Figures Young Readers' Edition
by Margot Lee Shetterly
Maybe because I read the Young Reader's Edition I didn't get as much information as I would have liked, but even the writing wasn't very strong. The storyline didn't flow, the characters didn't flow, and the timeline of events didn't flow. I think this would have been stronger had the author chose one woman and followed her story until the next woman entered. Instead of beginning with an introduction of the women involved, that just left me confused as I read the story. I couldn't remember which woman I was reading about at any given time. I was just not impressed at all with this book.
