I really enjoyed this book. The way the story was told was very interesting and I liked how it was left on just the precipice of the cliffhanger so that I’m not suffering so much until the next one. Also the illustrations were so beautiful that it made the reading experience even better. And there was just the right amount of gore and horror and I really cared about the characters which is the main problem I’ve been having with the past couple books I’ve read. Lastly, the writing definitely had some parts that seemed a little redundant to me, especially with how the main characters spoke, but it was overshadowed by the really beautiful and poetic parts
