This was a great novella. It did not feel short, but I still wanted more. This story follows Hekla while she is in Istre. Rey sent the remaining crew reinforcements, including his replacement as leader of the Bloodaxe Crew. Eyvind is son of a Jarl. He is cocky and arrogant, but has a soft spot for Hekla. They have to work together to fight the mist and save the town. I hope the characters come together with Silla and Rey in the next book. It will be interesting to the drama that will ensue with Hekla, Gunnar, and Eyvind.
