This book has ignited in me an even stronger passion for reading aloud to my kids and students. The way Jim Trelease presents the research and experience of the last 30 years is fascinating. Being someone who has experienced personally that value of sharing books as a child with my mom, as a mom with my children, and as a teacher with my students, I loved reading this book, and I'm so thankful for those people in my life who took the time to read to me.
