I went looking for a Theodore Roosevelt biography. Found this one. Didn't realize that this was Book 1 of 3. Can't wait to read the other 2. Roosevelt is remarkable. A force of the time. I can't help but wonder what he'd be or do in our times. A republican with progressive leanings. Odd combination for our time and that time too. We need a forceful personality, like TR, on our national stage to push back the excesses of our current gilded age. TR coined the term, the "wealthy criminal class". No truer words have been spoken.
