I really loved Dust and looked forward to Shadow a ton. At first the book was exactly what I was hoping for in this magical world created.
But, as I read more, my frustrations covered all the fuzzies I was feeling. There are many almost endings and along with those many things started feeling stretched or too unrealistic even in this magical world.
I still think it was a good story and unique twist on Peter Pan.
