All I know is I am sad ☹️

God this book started off sad, then obviously there were some happy moments

(yay Darcy and Lance officially Elysian mates! And yay Tory and Darius wedding!) but omg. The tears that I cried far outweigh those happy moments 😭

I swear my babies can’t catch a freakin break, I mean, what else was I expecting??? It’s literally in the title.

Also bc this book drove me to insanity, here are the reactions I had that I typed in my notes while I was reading Heartless Sky~

* Diego’s death in his POV, extra sad 😭
* Orion extra protective over his Blue 😫🤭
* HOW MANY ALMOSTS ARE SETH AND CALEB GOING TO HAVE OMG
* I almost forgot about Darius having only a year left 🥲
* I can’t have scenes of them planning new traditions for the holidays WITHOUT KNOWING DARIUS WONT EVEN BE THERE
* I love the twins but sometimes I just wanna conk their heads together for not listening when they should (i’m looking at you guys in chapter 26), cause Darius almost died earlier than he’s supposed to lmao
* AND HELLO DARCY NO MAGIC??!
* Honestly, Tory might have learned new info but the way that shit happened was bc they just wouldn’t listen. Lmao
* Okay yes magic for Darcy but no Phoenix? (Chapter 30)
* Tory (and Darcy from Lance) being away from Darius for a long time—months to a year or more—is so sad 😭
* Darius being sooooo bad with names is so funny 😂
