Everything I Know About Love: Now a Major BBC One Series by Dolly Alderton, Dolly Alderton

5.0

I properly properly LOVED this. Hilarious, charming, heartwarming, uplifting, basically a giant, cosy hug for any young woman who still feels like they’re figuring it out.

I felt like I identified so much with Dolly- I too went through a wild phase, spending most of my time drinking and dating, and worrying I would die alone, or otherwise never get my life together, so I couldn’t help seeing myself in every page. Alderton really has nailed the millennial woman experience in a way that, even if you had a vastly different life to her, you can still nod along with her descriptions of her anxieties, her struggles with her body image, her often chaotic search for love, and the eventual realisation she has more than enough of the love she needs in her incredible friendships.

This is genuinely such a beautiful, special piece, and I really think every 25-35 year old woman will love this.
