He once kissed me and now he doesn’t even know my name.
Willa has had a crush on him ever since she was seventeen. But he never seems to have noticed her. Now times have changed and she is older now. Even with her being old enough to drink at his bar now, he seems to always look the other way. Jackson has not had the best upbringing but Hazel and Thea have shown him that there can be and there is better out there. But love is not something he wants or sees in his future. But when Thea draws a picture of a young beautiful woman his future might start looking differently.
Small-town romances get me differently. They have me all giddy and nervous. This was a special one. Willa is such a put-together woman and seems to have figured life out. But when it comes to love she is chaos. Jackson has never felt love and he thinks love doesn’t exist. So every time the two met and opened a new door I turned into this child and all giddy. This book just made me feel like no matter how far two people can be from each other. If they are meant to be they will find the middle ground. And the rest will just unfold itself!
