Such a fascinating insight into an absolute legend’s life. Carrie is so much quirkier and funnier than I knew. She has such a way with words. Her poetry!!! I absolutely love her poetry. This book was pretty cool. I do wish we had a little more of the gaps filled in but I think this was obviously meant to only be centered around her life and feelings during the filming of the first Star Wars.
I think I would have rated this 4 or 5 stars if the bit about her affair weren’t so long and if the book didn’t leave me feeling sad and dissatisfied. There were bits that were just sort of jumbled together and not cohesive. But overall I enjoyed this and have so much respect and love for Carrie!
