Wowie, where to begin. Study for Obedience is a small but mighty book that follows an unnamed protagonist who moves into her brother’s house in the unnamed northern (I’m assume, European) country of her ancestors. When he leaves for business, she’s forced into isolation and viewed as other by the locals and some coincidental, weird, spooky sh*t follows.
