Just One Year by Gayle Forman

In this sequel to 'Just One Day', Willem is lost when he loses Lulu in Paris. He searches and travels, hoping to run into her somewhere else. But he doesn't even have her name. Only her ticking wrist watch and the nagging feeling that she was special. Willem finally accepts that he may never find her. But then comes a ray of hope. A letter.

I love travel realistic fiction and this is one of my new favorites. The places Willem travels to are popular tourist destinations, but he leaves the beaten track and goes to some very cultural and fantastic places that I would love to visit some day. His idea of getting lost and seeing where the wind takes him is extremely exciting.
