Gyo itself was a 3 star read for me. I enjoyed it, but it didn’t have as much substance or as much of a wow factor as the first two Junji Ito books I read, Tomie and Uzumaki. However, the additional short story at the end, The Enigma of Amigara Fault was AMAZING! 5 stars for that story alone. It was terrifying and I loved every second. I bumped my overall rating up half a star because I loved that story so much.
