This book was as unputdownable as Rowell’s other books, but I didn’t always love it. I wasn’t a huge fan of young Shiloh, and this book is not for people who can’t stand a romance that would just be solved if someone said what they meant. But the flashbacks help explain why the characters are the way they are, and the picture of this romance comes together.
