A Hope Divided by Alyssa Cole

3.0

Alyssa Cole's writing is amazing as always, but this book, unfortunately, didn't match up to the first book in the series. It often felt slow-moving with the pacing and I didn't feel fully gripped by the characters. I honestly couldn't remember what the connection with Ewan was until reading someone else's review lol. I found Marlie's backstory and reveals about her family pretty interesting. I also felt like when we left the house, I was very interested in seeing where the story progressed. But yeah, overall, it was just okay. Nothing too memorable.
