Ok read. I know that sometimes an author needs to help readers with certain information, but the interim director of the Egyptian Supreme Council on Antiquities does not know what the Dead Sea Scrolls are? Admittedly, the Dead Sea Scrolls are not Egyptian, but come on.

Otherwise, a fairly typical accepted-history-shattering thriller, though not as exciting as some I've read.

Meh.
