probably my least favorite of the series, which is surprising as i love saxon and her work! i just wasn’t feeling marshall and felix that much
i wasn’t particularly interested in the demisexual journey, mostly because it just took sooooo long to work through for such a short book. the miscommunication between the characters began from ch 1 and lasted an insane amount of time. felix as a character was just a bit much for me, like an energizer bunny. meanwhile marshall didn’t give me enough. it seemed like he was just some boring history guy whose only interesting trait was being a virgin and demi.
i mean, they were cute but i wasn’t too invested because i didn’t necessarily care about the characters apart from the relationship and resolving the conflict. still had fun tho!
