Valley of Silence by Nora Roberts
4.0

Re-read Oct, 21st 2011

Valley of Silence is book 3 of Circle Trilogy by Nora Roberts. This book is my favorite and the conclusion are well done. The ending kinda easily predicted, but if everybody happy in the end, why readers must complain? *grin*

To read Valley of Silence, readers must read 2 previous books, [b:Morrigan's Cross|26046|Morrigan's Cross (Circle Trilogy, #1)|Nora Roberts|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1309200639s/26046.jpg|668492] and [b:Dance of the Gods|31313|Dance of the Gods (Circle trilogy #2)|Nora Roberts|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1309200785s/31313.jpg|1702757]. The story is about 6 people who must defeat Lilith, the Queen of The Vampire, so she can't reign over mortal and Gods world, with blessing from The Morrigan, one of Celtic goddess. They're Hoyt MacCionaith, the sorcerer from Ireland's 12th century who transfer to the present era, his long dead twin, Cian MacCionaith who now become a vampire, the lost soul. Then there is Glenna Ward, the witch and Hoyt's lover. Blair Murphy, the demon hunter, a descendant from Hoyt and Cian's sister. And the last 2 people from Geall Kingdom, human last hope to fight against Lilith, Larkin Riddock, the shape shifter and his cousin, Moira, the future Queen of Geall.

Valley of The Silence as the last book of Circle Trilogy, is about Cian and Moira. Cian who was sired by Lilith herself decide to get rid of the vampire queen for eternity and help Moira defend Geall, then prepare for the last battle. I love this couple, and wow, Cian is hotter that his twin, Hoyt. While Hoyt kinda naive and strict, Cian has a "bad boy" vibe. But, maybe its because his past is so hard and he had lost so many people that he love.

The Circle trilogy is an enjoyable read from Nora Robert and show her class. Nora Roberts again using Irish and Celt myth then add vampire on the mix. Her writing is easily to understand rather than her J.D.Robb's books, but both have their unique style. I'm not read other Nora Roberts paranormal trilogy yet, but Circle Trilogy is my favorite and always will be =)
