This was probably one of my most anticipated reads that I had on my shelf, so I did what anyone would do and picked it as a book club book! While I loved the whole mythology story, it started out with me wishing I knew more to start, but that feeling fades as the story goes on! And boy does the story go on! I feel like Circe at one point or another crossed paths with every mythological being that's ever been mentioned, so therefore I found it a bit "piecemeally". I understand that there was a lot to go through, but it just came across as, Circe did this with the person, then did that with this other person, then something happened with this person... so I didn't really find it all that flowing I guess you could say for lack of a better word. But I did enjoy it, and we'll definitely be adding Song of Achilles to my list!
