Why we don't die in Dreams by Debbie Zello
4.0

Gavin McLeod is 29 years old and a 6 year veteran of the Boston Police Department. He has begun to have dreams about beautiful women who end up dead and they all seem to have a link to him in some way. Gavin and his new partner, Lou Barnes, work to discover the victims and how they are all related.

Yet soon enough the reader needs to figure out what is real and what is actually Gavin's dreams as the two worlds collide in an unprecedented way.

Wow - the beginning of this book is so full of mystery and murder with Gavin trying to figuring out who is murdering these women and how they are linked to him. I felt so bad for Gavin as it was obvious how much he was struggling with everything.

Then all of a sudden the book takes a huge turn and I was like - WTF is going on and I actually had to go back and re-read to make sure I hadn't missed something. From then on I had to pay attention as there was so much happening and I wasn't sure which reality we were in.

The book had so many twists and turns that you get so involved in the book but are never really sure what is happening and the author really did a great job of keeping you involved in the book and the story.

I am really looking forward to the next book to discover what is really happening!
