Blue
by Danielle Steel
This is the fifth Daniel Steele book I have read, I have enjoyed every one of them so far and this one was no exception. Blue Williams and Jimmy Carter I've brought together on the anniversary of her husband and sons death, she is currently standing by a railing frightening to take her own life. However she sees a flash of somebody running into a shed and decides to investigate. How life changes for ever when she meets blue. Blue is 13 and homeless, he's been abandoned by his family and lives on the streets. Jeannie reaches out to him and starts to gain his trust, however just as he is beginning to trust her he ends up revealing a shocking betrayal that he has been hiding. This book is a fantastic story I felt for the characters throughout the book and felt that it was handled very compassionately. An absolutely fantastic book, definitely a five star rating.
