Bad Science: Quacks, Hacks, and Big Pharma Flacks by Ben Goldacre

4.0

This book gave voice to every issue I have ever taken with a news article misreporting science (usually in the case of clearly presenting numbers). The specific examples Goldacre cites are the very reason why we should check out the source material for a news story, or strive to become informed when encountering a new science concept.

I would recommend this book - it's a light and readable, and often funny - for anyone interested in science and how it is represented to the public.
