Inferno by Dan Brown
2.0
Yes. Well. Uhm. It's a Dan Brown book. I think I swore I would never read another Dan Brown book but then he wrote one about Florence, where I've spent two weeks recently, and after getting it tossed almost literally in my lap I decided to give it a go. The thing I enjoyed most is that I could precisely imagine where they went in Florence. All the references to art are nice too. That's about it.
(In my humble opinion Dan Brown is a rather bad writer, with unbelievable plots and a most annoying writing style. His way of introducing thrill to the plot has no finesse to it at all, it's just a with-holding of information, even if it makes no sense character or plot-wise.)
