Honey and Spice is a cute read that is perfect for anyone who loves fake dating tropes. I read half of the book with my physical hardback copy and the other half via audiobook and I definitely loved the audiobook experience more. Kiki’s character is amazing and is one of my favourite characters from all the books I’ve read this year. Babalola really has a way with words that make even the most  simple things sound so elegant. Loved the banter too, it genuinely made me laugh. I wasn’t a huge fan of the overdone slang though. Generally it was a cute read but I wasn’t hooked throughout.
