So this was very good and important and sweet and swoony and funny and *Daniel MF Grant* my man my man
Maybe it’s just the February sad times hitting but this book honestly made me feel depressed and I obviously didn’t have strong enough emotional resilience for all the very heavy topics that are covered… this is also my first Abby Jimenez book and so I wasn’t sure how much trauma she would put her characters through before the HEA, which made me procrastinate picking this one up and why it took me so long to finish.
Final note - why was I under the assumption AJ books were more open door than this?? Kinda shocked me but just cause I was expecting something more
