Such a good book! I enjoyed the spinoff and looking into past characters' lives, but now with the kids at the helm. I loved Rafael and Vasilisa’s relationship. Seeing them interact every night and drawing doodles for one another was so cute. I liked how they let their guard down and could be themselves together. This was a good progression in terms of their relationship, but I wanted Rafael to “get it” just a bit quicker with the jewelry gifts and why she was so against them, or at least explain himself a bit more so she could maybe infer. I still really enjoyed this book and I’m excited for the spinoff seires!
