A seaside escape is a lovely, heartwarming and touching story.
This book for me, was definitely a surprise. I wasn’t expecting to feel sad in parts of this gorgeous book, but for me, it made Sam’s character that much stronger in terms of development and what impact it can have on readers.
Mallory, struggling with her grief doesn’t really know she’ll cope. Will she find the comfort she needs? Will she start to move on? Will she find love again?
This book is well written with a brilliant set of characters and some stunning locations. Lisa was a new author for me, and now, after reading this book, I’m excited to read more of her work.
This book comes highly recommended to all fans of contemporary fiction and romance.
