Review:
Crossroads delivers a quiet, heartfelt story with a grounded setting and a strong sense of place. The Montana ranch backdrop is beautifully written, and the emotional tension between Indya and West is compelling in parts. I appreciated the slow-burn reconnection trope, and some of the family dynamics added real weight.

That said, the pacing felt uneven at times, and I struggled to stay fully invested in the middle third of the book. The romance, while sweet, lacked the intensity or depth I was hoping for, and the lower spice level made it feel more “cozy” than emotionally explosive. A pleasant read overall, especially for fans of second-chance romance and small-town settings.
Would recommend to:
Readers who love character-driven stories, minimal spice, and emotional landscapes over high drama.
