Read this as a buddy read and what a book to do one with.
I thought it’d be hard to get into as I’m new to the fantasy genre but it was really easy. The characters and places are described so well you can picture them easily.
It kinda gave me twilight vibes with more of a fantasy element. Also got the goblet of fire/ hunger games vibe too with the trials.
This book had me hooked and I loved getting lost in the world of it. Lots of tense moments and also lots of action and a bit of romance too.
It was such a great mix and well written. Looking forward to reading the novella and then the rest of the series
