The whole time I read this, I had Tom Cruise in my head. Really not the image I wanted of him kissing his mother. But, oh well. Another good book. Not as erotic, which I didn't mind. More getting down with the lore of the vampires that Rice was trying to get out for the rest of her series. Really just tying it all together, and how Lestat comes into all of that stuff. I really love the Egyptian lore being thrown in. Since I was really little, I've loved Egypt and this is just bringing it all together, tying in the lore with what Rice wants for her vampires. I'm glad I've finally picked up this series to read.
