why oh why have i never read a Tessa Bailey book before??? i think i’m hooked after this one. do i care that i just read a Christmas book in August? absolutely not!!
the book was obviously short - being only 250 pages - compared to most others, and i think that’s why the plot felt like it happened so quick. but on the other hand… i didn’t actually care. i loved how fast paced it was, the whole thing was the perfect blend of cute and hot.
on that note - MISS BAILEY WE NEED TO HAVE A WORD ABOUT THE WAY YOU WRITE 🌶🌶🌶!! every single time there was a spicy scene, i was left hot under the collar. THE DIRTY TALK🥵🥵🥵 Aiden was literally the definition of ‘gentlemen in the streets, freak in the sheets’ and i’m so glad for it. feels like i damn near used up all my pink sticky tabs.
i can’t wait to read more of Tessa’s books now, especially if they’re even half as good as this one.
