The Prince of Prohibition by Marilyn Marks

Oh my god. I don’t even remember how I found this, but I am so glad I did. This is described as ACOTAR meets the Great Gatsby, and if you throw a little bit of HadesxPersephone vibes in there that is absolutely accurate. We’ve got Adeline, a farm girl from Georgia who has grown up in a household that taught her to fear “devil folk” and has seen them everywhere. We’ve got Jack, the fae Prince and bootlegging gangster and oil tycoon running New York after being kicked out of the fae realm. We’ve got Violet, Jack’s snarky badass terrifying sister who is never seen without her snake. We’ve got Arthur, a Druid with social anxiety. We’ve got so many great characters here all teaming up to save humanity (and maybe with some other goals Jack is being sneaky about 😉). There is so much information revealed at the end. I am shocked and can’t wait until I can get book 2.
