I love fantasy, and this is an easy fantasy read. It gives you just enough information to make you want more without overwhelming you with unnecessary details all at once. There's also a level of political intrigue happening in the background that gives it a nice flavor, and each choice in the love triangle has good relationship development. While I definitely have a favorite love interest (and a secondary, actual prospective love interest because no matter how much I like Nehemia and Celaena's relationship, I do not actually think she is a viable love interest), I think I'd be happy with Celaena's ultimate choice later in the series.

So, solid and very enjoyable read. Not quite "can't stop thinking about it" levels of good though
