Each time I revisit this story it’s like a warm hug. I love Anne and Matthew and Marilla and Diana and Gilbert. I love Anne’s sense of wonder and joy. The way Matthew loves Anne so quietly but so deeply. How Anne makes Marilla laugh and smile when she is usually such a stern woman.
