Surprised why folks gave this book less than 4 stars. I mean it's not perfect by no means, from literally perspective, but at least the author attempted to do something about the fate of these missing young women even if it's fictionalized. By grieving their disappearance through the pages, she gave them voices and introduced us to true life events which we might have not known about otherwise; The missing women in Ireland told from multiple perspectives, yes it's simplified-- still able to hook you.

The ending is what made me give this book 5 start instead of 4. Smart book.

P.S. Listening to it on audiobook might elevate the reading experience from cultural perspective due to narrators's language.
